Securing your HarborFinance account
Practical steps to protect your login, devices and withdrawals.
Use a unique, strong password
Use a password manager to generate a long password you don't use anywhere else. HarborFinance stores only a salted Argon2 hash of your password.
Turn on two-factor authentication
2FA adds a time-based code from an authenticator app to every sign-in and withdrawal. Save your backup codes somewhere safe and offline.
Review your sessions
Settings → Sessions lists every signed-in device. End any session you don't recognise and change your password immediately.
Beware of impersonation
HarborFinance staff will never ask for your password, 2FA codes or backup codes, and will never ask you to send funds to an address to “verify” your account.
